The LEAP to Communicate team is made up of two CORU Registered Speech and Language Therapists who together have over 18 years of experience.

Senior Speech and Language Therapist

Suzanne has experience working with children and adults with a range of communication needs including speech and language delay/disorder, learning disability and ASD.
She also has an interest in dysphagia and has experience with assessing and treating feeding, eating, drinking and swallowing impairments from pre-mature babies through to end of life care.
As a mother, she prides herself on excellent communication and organisation skills and aims to provide a quality therapeutic service whilst working in a client and family-centred manner.


Senior Speech and Language Therapist

Claire brings vast experience in working with a range of paediatric client groups; including developmental delay, learning disability and ASD, and targeting a wide complexity of need; Pre-verbal & Early communication development, speech delay, language delay, social communication/Pragmatic difficulties, Assessments and Autism screening. As a mother of five herself, she strives on building open, positive relationships with children and caregivers.  Focusing a strong ethos on 'parents knowing their child best',  she sees her role as working in partnership with families to support children in meeting their full communicative and learning potential.
