CAN I RESCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS?
At LEAP to Communicate we understand that sometimes life gets in the way and we always try to be as flexible as possible in order to support our clients.
However, a cancellation policy must apply. This is to cover your appointment slot as there would not be sufficient time to schedule another client for that time.
Appointments cancelled on the same day will incur 100% charge.
Appointments cancelled within 24 hrs will incur a 75% charge.
Appointments cancelled within 48 hrs will incur a 50% charge.
CAN I BLOCK BOOK APPOINTMENTS?
In order to avoid disappointment and to ensure you receive an appointment at a time that best suits you, we would recommend that you block book your appointments together.
Following assessment, we would provide recommendations stating whether intervention is required or not. At this time, we would also discuss your intervention options. We would advise that you book you appointments at this stage.
If, for some reason, this is not possible, we will do our best to schedule your appointment at another time that suits you.
CAN I AVAIL OF THERAPY IF I HAD AN ASSESSMENT CARRIED OUT ELSEWHERE
Simply put the answer is yes. Not all clients will require assessment. For some, assessment may be completed through the public health system. We will accept these assessment and would ask that a copy of that report be provided to us to support in setting intervention goals with the client.
If the assessment is out of date or if the clients presentation has changed since their last assessment, the SLT may recommend that an up-to-date assessment to completed in order to get a better picture of the clients strengths and weaknesses.
